An innovative, progressive and fast growing company are looking for a determined, eager and driven Technical Business Developer Sales to help them secure new and existing clients. We are looking for a commercially driven professional who has enough technical insights to be able to sit at the table with C-level executives and discuss their investments into technical assets (machinery for production or installations for real estate, for example). The majority of the investments made by your future customers will be made for sustainable or energy saving reasons. Your role will be to offer them a time and cost saving process through our clients service, which is the access to applicable government funding and subsidies as well as outsourcing the total application process to them. Your role will involve a lot of networking, signing new contracts and being at the forefront of the growth within the Energy/Environmental investment subsidies division. The rate of your growth will accelerate as the business unit grows but there will be exciting opportunities in this organization to shape your future Business career.
Your Role:
• Turn new business prospects given to you by your team and own initiatives into actual opportunities and new clients
• Visit potential/existing customers to discuss their strategic investment plans. Present to them how our client can contribute through large cost savings on energy/environmentally friendly and/or innovative projects
• Build up a strong network and relationship with suppliers and installers as well as prospects and existing customers
• Develop a good market understanding and knowledge including targets, industries and competition
• Contribute to the team development with your ideas and experience
Here’s what you bring:
• Dutch speaking is a must
• A completed HBO and WO education with a business or technical component
• At least 2 years of work experience in a commercial role with a technical element
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinker
• Strong social, verbal and written skills to sell a service
• Network of companies and installers in building-related and/or process installations is a huge plus
• Ideally, some knowledge of (fiscal) subsidies such as EIA, MIA and ISDE for these projects
