Position Title: Inside Sales Specialist

As Inside Sales Specialist, you will become a pivotal part of the team in Europe by directly supporting the Account Managers and driving the growth of defined accounts, product distributors, and prospective customers. Your efforts will be vital in achieving growth targets across assigned accounts, territories, and sales channels. You’ll take on specific responsibilities that fuel turnover, gross profit, and our clients market position. As the crucial bridge between customer needs and sales strategies, you’ll transform requirements into actionable plans, contributing to their continued success. Enjoy the flexibility of working three days in the Almelo office and two days from home.
What will you do:
Sales Support and Creating Business Opportunities (Assigned Accounts):
- Act as a liaison between our client and their customers or channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Present our clients product portfolio, highlighting unique selling points to customers and partners.
- Develop forecasts for new and existing products, define market actions, and recommend strategies for growth.
- Select and manage channel partners, create contracts, and drive regional coverage.
- Provide timely updates on products and services, assist in proposal development, and support marketing activities.
- Negotiate pricing and develop quotations in collaboration with Account Managers.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to expedite orders and manage shipment logistics.
- Handle client communications, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with client deliverables.
- Maintain administrative accuracy through Oracle system setup, opportunity management, and ensuring compliance.
Account Plan Support and Channel Management (Assigned Accounts):
- Regularly evaluate client demands and service/product usage to refine account strategies.
- Prepare monthly key activity reports, clarifying customer and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the Financial team to identify potential bad debt accounts and take action to retain them.
- Assist channel partners in expanding business, driving product cross-selling, and market promotion.
- Provide first-line customer support on products, certificates, and compliance issues (e.g., RoHS, REACH, sustainability).
Planning: Forecasting and Reporting (Assigned Accounts):
- Support Sales and Operations teams with monthly sales forecasts in coordination with CSR.
- Provide regular visit reports and updates to ensure informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the Sales & Marketing team by providing insights into account developments, requirements, and activities
Customer Relationship Management (Assigned Accounts):
- Conduct regular customer needs analysis alongside the customer service team to take action on customer complaints, delivery requirements, and other inquiries where necessary.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and Teams meetings for Tier-3 accounts
- Collaborate internally with key decision-makers to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 2 years of experience working in activities related to inside sales, preferably with a manufacturing or distribution company in the HVAC or appliance industry.
- Fluent in English required. German and Dutch desired.
- Customer focus and customer satisfaction. Identify customer needs; act and think from a customer perspective while keeping the company’s objectives in mind.
- Proactive: look for opportunities and take initiative.
- Reside in the region, i.e. maximum 1 hour from their office in Almelo
