Since 1989, they have specialized in connecting niche industries such as global steel, energy, and material engineering through their high-profile technical magazines, digital portals, and flagship international trade fairs held across Europe, Asia, and America.

Today, they are active in over 80 countries. Their highly diverse team consists of more than 65 professionals representing over 28 nationalities, working across global offices in the Netherlands (Deventer), Germany, China, Singapore and Canada. Growing and continuously moving forward, they are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially driven International Sales Representative to strengthen their team. In this role, you will take ownership of developing and maintaining relationships with international clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving their expansion in global markets.

Your role:

  • Develop and manage relationships with international customers and partners
  • Identify and approach new business opportunities in international markets
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales opportunities
  • Support customers with product information and commercial advice
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order handling and customer satisfaction
  • Attend international trade fairs, customer visits, and industry events when required
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy

You bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within the publishing or events industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Commercial mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel internationally when needed
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • You live within 45 minutes of the Deventer Office
