In your position as Field Sales Manager France (North East), you will be on the road more than 50 % of your time visiting end customers and dealers. This is a home office based position. Together with the Country Manager in France, you will make a plan for your region.

Yokohama Off-Highway tires is a fully owned subsidiary of The Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. They have three brands: Alliance, Galaxy and Primex. Their brands are well-known names in the OHT segment across the globe and were brought together under the YOHT banner, in a phased manner. In Europe, they are a truly international team operating both from head-quarters in Amsterdam as well as local sales branches. Their DNA is growth and have been the fastest growing off- highway tire manufacturer for the last decade. They are expanding into new segments and truly believe in a winning recipe of having global manufacturing while being present with local sales teams. Due to growth, they are looking for a Sales Manager for their North Eastern Region in France.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for further establishment and growth of their brands in the region, build on their existing presence/ portfolio in the construction and agricultural segments. You will take responsibility for finding, developing and managing assigned accounts. You will work in alignment with the plan of the Country Manager. Willingness to support other regions from time to time if needed.

Detailed Role Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to deliver sales revenue targets for different product lines.
  • Distribution key account management and business development.
  • Roll out of sales campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with the distributors/tire dealers/OE2 customers to improve revenues and acquiring customers.
  • Interfaces with Product Management teams to provide customer feedback on product performance and recommend pricing programs to remain competitive in the market.
  • Acts as an ambassador and representative to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships for YOHT/ATE.
  • To be able to do accurate forecasting.
  • Ensures total satisfaction through the life cycle of all relationships.
  • Interface between customer and technical department for managing the claims as needed.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in any related commercial or technical field.
  • Relevant experience; a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ sales experience in the region.
  • Currently working in the tire industry is a plus.
  • Experience in an international environment or as a distributor is a pre.
  • Affinity with automotive, truck, agriculture or industrial machinery.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and a result-oriented mentality.
  • Enthusiastic and positive thinking; think in solutions, not in problems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Not afraid to take responsibility.
  • Able to make analyzes.
  • Able to communicate in English & French (an additional European language is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region for more than 50% of the time.
  • You are based in the region Northeast France already.
