As Business Development Manager EMEA (DACH, Nordics and Eastern Europe) you will become a key part of the team in Europe by identifying growth opportunities, building relationships and driving revenue within their core markets.

What will you do
- Identifying new business opportunities: research and analyze market trends, customer needs and competitor activity; identify new markets, potential clients and partnerships that can expand the company's reach or enhance its offerings; educate clients on product features and benefits to enhance the value clients receive; and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and account expansion to achieve or exceed annual quota.
- Lead generation and sales: generate new leads through networking, cold calling, industry events and digital marketing strategies; engage with prospects to understand their business needs and position the company's products or services as solutions; follow up on sales opportunities and close deals; build long-term relationships with key clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; and address any issues that arise in a proactive manner.
- Proposal development: work with internal teams to create tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients, and help shape the commercial terms and conditions in line with company goals and client expectations.
- Market research and analysis: continuously monitor industry trends, customer feedback and market demands to inform product or service innovation, and analyze competitors to identify areas where the company can gain a competitive advantage.
- Sales strategy and forecasting: develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets, monitor sales progress, manage pipelines and report on forecasts.
- Collaboration with internal teams: work together with the account managers to approach prospects and leads; work closely with marketing, product development and operations teams to ensure the company's offerings align with market demands; and provide feedback and insights from clients and prospects to help shape product or service offerings.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience in business development, account management, sales or a related role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to speak fluent German and English; other languages are an advantage.
- Customer-focused mindset and dedication to client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the HVAC sector is an advantage.
- Problem-solving, business analysis and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and account management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Industry knowledge and understanding of market trends.
- Proactive and a self-starter.
